A custom-designed “webbook” – a long-form publication format that combines the reading experience of a book with the accessibility and SEO benefits of a website. Unlike traditional PDFs or ebooks, the content lives as a fully structured web document while preserving the feeling of navigating a designed publication. The layout was built from scratch, with very limited visual references available online, making this exploration both challenging and unique.

Key design focus included: – clear typographic hierarchy across multiple heading levels – a persistent table of contents reflecting document structure – comfortable long-form paragraph layout for sustained reading – margin elements such as quotes and contextual notes – book-like navigation cues (cover preview, chapter dividers)

The result bridges editorial design and web UX – enabling complex, knowledge-dense content to be consumed like a book while remaining fully searchable and indexable online.

Although rarely referred to as a “webbook,” this format overlaps with modern web-based white papers, ebooks, documentation sites, and long-form knowledge publications – offering a structured, SEO-friendly alternative to static PDF publications.
