React Flow vs. GoJS — Technical Decision Checklist & Landing Page

Client:

Synergy Codes

Scope

Technical PDF design, information architecture, typography system, comparison tables, visual assets, landing page UX/UI, Webflow implementation

Tools

Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Webflow

This project involved designing a technical decision checklist for developers comparing two diagramming technologies: React Flow and GoJS. The primary objective was to transform dense, table-heavy technical content into a document that is both highly readable and visually refined, supporting informed technology selection without cognitive overload.

The PDF was structured around comparison matrices, decision criteria, and use-case mappings. Particular emphasis was placed on typographic hierarchy, microtypography, and spacing systems to ensure clarity across large data tables. Careful control of font scale, column rhythm, and alignment enables quick scanning while preserving aesthetic minimalism. Subtle brand gradients and visualization motifs were introduced to maintain visual identity without compromising legibility.

Beyond the document itself, a dedicated lead-generation landing page was designed and implemented in Webflow. The page communicates the checklist’s value, previews its contents, and guides users through a conversion flow to access the PDF. The layout balances editorial presentation with marketing clarity, aligning the downloadable asset with the broader Synergy Codes website experience.

The result is a cohesive content asset and acquisition flow that presents complex technical comparisons in an elegant, structured format while supporting developer decision-making and product marketing goals.
